Hey Ruchi, I managed to catch a few shots of this ceremony on TV last evening. It was awesome!!!! Chinese has put up a gr8 show and managed to keep up to its promise of coming up with the best Olympics opening ceremony ever.

Wonder what India will put up.....if ever we manage to prove ourselves eligible to host Olympics!

hey Deepa..
i went through the same experience on having seen a few snapshots of the ceremony. my mind quickly cleared all the unpleasantness with respect to the internal Chinese affairs as i was zapped by the splendour of this event.

It does throw a challenge for India whther, on having given such an oppurtunity, our folks will be able to leverage this benchmark! i jus hope this year we have gud number of medals in our kitty :)
